photo post #39: Series
Reparei há uns tempos que tenho tendência a fazer as coisas em séries. Tirar fotos segundo um tema ou tratamento, segundo uma maneira de ver, uma perspectiva, uma temática. Estas duas séries foram feitas para o 365, mas são completamente independentes disse, especialmente a do Anjo, que vem de alguns estudos que eu fiz no (pseudo) mestrado e na licenciatura. De qualquer forma, espero que gostem de ambas.

I noticed a while back that I have a tendency to do things in series. I shoot according to a theme or treament, a way of seeing, a perspective. The two following series were done in the spirit of 365, but can be seen as completely independent, especially the Angel one, since it's got elements from my (pseudo) master's and my college years. Anyway, I hope you like them!

Há umas semanitas, resolvi tirar a tarde para me aventurar pelas profundezas de Vila Nova de Gaia. Lá encontrei um cantinho ao pé de casa da minha mãe, onde estive sozinha e sossegada a tirar fotos. Escusado será dizer que com a minha alergia ao pólen e aquela quantidade mórbida de flores amarelas, a coisa não acabou muito bem. Mas vá, as fotos até ficaram fofas!

A couple of weeks ago I decided to take the afternoon to explore the depths of Vila Nova de Gaia, a neighbor town. I settled on a corner near my mother's house, where I was all lonely and quiet, shooting as I pleased. Obviously, with my allergy to pollen and that amount of yellow flowers, it did not end up well. But oh, the photos are kind of pretty.

O ponto alto do Explore é ter uma photo na frontpage do Flickr, aquela para onde as pessoas são dirigidas mal entram. Eu tive duas, e fiquei para lá de feliz!

The highlight of Explore is having a photo on Flickr's frontpage, the one people are directed to when they enter the site. I was lucky enough to have two, and I was beyond happy. :)
